Thescon - Colorado Springs CIVA Charter High School News

On December 6th through the 8th, 20 CIVA students traveled to participate in the 54th annual Thespian conference. The conference consists of three days of workshops in everything from stage combat to acting and theatre technology.  Seven students participated in an individual event. An individual event is the student choosing anything to perform or even competing for set designs or lighting in front of seasoned professionals.  They can receive four ratings -  fair, good, excellent, and superior.  The students who receive a superior are qualified to go to the international Thespian Convention with students from all across the country.  The following students competed and all received superior or excellent ratings:
